State Bank of Southern Utah is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve by helping people feel valued and successful in their financial objectives. We actively volunteer, sponsor, and contribute to causes that benefit our communities, our customers, and the bank itself.
Eligibility for Contributions: All sponsorship and contribution requests must be submitted by a registered business entity. Due to accounting and IRS regulations, we are unable to provide contributions directly to individuals.
Contribution Priorities: When considering sponsorships and contributions, the bank gives priority to requests that:
For-profit organizations requesting sponsorships will also be evaluated on the marketing benefits provided to the bank.
Submission and Review Process: To request a sponsorship or contribution, please complete the designated request form. The review process occurs monthly:
Requests should be submitted at least two days prior to the respective committee meeting date for that month’s review. The committees assess each request based on its alignment with our mission and within the constraints of our budgeted funds. Large contribution requests should be submitted before November 1st to allow for budgeting considerations for the following year.
Requests outside of Iron and Washington County are reviewed on an individual basis by the closest branch.
