What Can I Do With My Real-Time ATM/Debit Card?

Make purchases or obtain cash wherever Visa is accepted. Use the same card to conduct either signature-based credit transactions or PIN-based ATM/debit transactions, depending upon the capability of the retailer. Memorize your PIN and never reveal it to anyone - including bank personnel. Your PIN may be permanently changed at any SBSU ATM or office.

By the way, we will never send you an e-mail that asks for your card number or PIN to "Confirm your Identity" (see phishing).

Visa Zero Liability Promise for Unauthorized Purchases

Use your Visa debit/credit card with confidence wherever you shop. You have zero liability on unauthorized purchases if you notify the bank within 60 days of the statement date on which the unauthorized charges first appear.

However, if you provide your card numbers to criminals by responding to phishing E-mail and consequently lose money, the "Zero Liability" promise will not apply. In this case your liability may be no more than $50 if you notify the bank within 60 days of the statement date on which the unauthorized charges first appear. You may be liable for 100% of the unauthorized charges if you fail to notify the bank in a timely manner. See Reg E.

Visa Credit Card

Conduct transactions or obtain cash anywhere on the planet where Visa is accepted. Charges accumulate on your monthly statement. Interest accrues only if the unpaid balance is not paid before the end of the grace period. Cash advances may be obtained from ATM's in conjunction with your secret PIN. Change your PIN by filling out the form enclosed with your PIN notification.

Visa Business Card

The Visa Business Card is great for any business. Obtain a master account limit. Separate cards are then issued to individual employees, each with its own credit limit and itemized statement. $20 per card annual service fee.

State Bank offers inexpensive overdraft protection through our SureCash Line of Credit. Funds are transferred automatically in $100 increments and cost $3 per transfer. Falcon Automated Fraud Detection System:

State Bank’s card processor places automated calls to card holders whose transactions fall outside expected norms. If there is no answer, a message is left for the cardholder to call one of the phone numbers listed below.

  • The last 4-digits of your SSN to verify the correct cardholder.
  • It will then list transactions (which you should recognize) and ask to indicate whether you conducted them. Your call will be forwarded to a live person if you indicate that a transaction is not legitimate.

  • Your 16-digit card number and/or PIN.
  • Your full SSN or your date of birth.
